The Māori Plan for Tāmaki Makaurau

As part of my role in the Secretariat at the Independent Māori Statutory Board, I wrote and lead the development of the Māori Plan for Tāmaki Makaurau on their behalf.

This is the 30 year Plan based on the aspirations of Mana Whenua and Mataawaka in Tāmaki Makaurau that is used by the Independent Māori Statutory Board as an advocacy tool at local and central government level. It was designed after extensive engagement with hāpu, iwi and hapori Māori throughout the region.

Based on wellbeing areas and Māori values, it contains an action plan and monitoring framework to ensure accountability and transparency.
